MY TESTS
Medical images below... a.k.a. what my experience looked like.
My name is Tiffany.
I am a Michigan artist and this is what artists do.
We create from experience, we experiment, we document and share for everyone to see.
Once I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer there were so many tests that I lost count.
In the beginning I had no idea what all of the tests were and what I would be going through.
So I researched and tried my best to prepare.
Once I had the images I wanted to look at everything.
There were marks noting my masses and concerning spots in my lungs, spine and other spots.
But the only two places they were concerned about/ tested for cancer were my lungs and chest.
The images I place here are only a part of the full picture as I am currently not ready to share the whole thing.
The images are still difficult to understand but once you know what is there you can see it.
That is why the doctors need every angle and contrast to figure out where the problem is.
My hair over time:
Just before diagnosis in 2024 to 2026.

I am sharing parts of my medical images below.
I am sharing these for those that are curious like I was.
My hope is that you are not afraid.
This experience is very hard but it is possible to get through it.

2024
First came my mammogram with sticker markers on my skin.
and ultrasounds.
The images were reviewed and biopsies were recommended from my main mass and 1 lymph node.
They leave small scabs that heal over time.
Bruises appeared on my chest even in spots away from the scab/needle entrance.
With every biopsy came a small metal clip of a different shape to monitor and identify each spot.
Also after each biopsy an image (Mammogram or MRI) was taken to document the placed clip.

12/10/2024 I knew I had cancer after reading and interpreting my pathology report.
12/16/2024 I was given a basic action plan from the breast specialist at my OBGYNs office.....
MRI, Bone Scan, CT Scan, Genetic Mutation Blood Test...

(I believe the injection leaked into my arm a little which is why it looks like I got bit, hah.
Though it was not funny at the time. I had to stay very still for a long time.)
35 years old here by the way...
CT Scan (below) to look at my entire body.
This turned out like slices of my entire body which I cannot share so many images.
The doctors were concerned about my lungs. I needed biopsies of my lung lymph nodes.
That is when I was diagnosed with Sarcoidosis.
the below image is after my port was placed.
The bright shine was the port tube which lead into my heart (which is the center shape).
